Tony Cohen is an author, historian, founder and president of the Menare Foundation (national nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of the underground railroad), operator of the Button Farm Living History Center, captivating speaker, and all around good dude. Tony’s Button Farm Living History Center is proud to host the Harriet Tubman: Journey to Freedom monument by gifted artist Wesley Wofford. This moving tribute has traveled to major cities across the nation and depicts Tubman as a formidable force on the perilous Underground Railroad. This will be the statue’s first visit to the Washington, DC area.
