Summer Rains

The mountains of West Virginia have been getting lots of rain lately. Last Friday night a big storm rolled through and dumped a lot of rain on an already wet landscape. Shays Run, which tumbles almost straight down into the Blackwater Canyon, was higher than I've ever seen it. This is an image of the second falls of Shays Run.
